Description
SourceForge user: nobody
Configuration
-------------
Synergy 1.2.2
Machine A (Host): Windows XP Professional (SP2)
Machine B (Client): Windows XP Tablet PC Edition (SP2)
Machine A screensaver settings: 9 minutes (Blank
Screen), Turn off monitor (10 minutes)
Machine B screensaver settings: 9 minutes (Blank
Screen), Turn off monitor (10 minutes)
Problem
-------
When the client is connected to the host, screensaver
sync works - but as long as the client is connected to
the host, the display on the client fails to turn off.
Even when the display on the host is automatically
turned off, the client's display does not.

I have the same problem on a XP Pro SP2 server (with no
hosts connected, but one configured)
I have two users that loginto this computer
Screensaver settings: screensaver in 1 min and turn off the
screen in 2, also when restoring from screensaver go to the
welcome screen.
if I configure the autostart for login, or when the system
starts, and in both cases have the "sync screensaver" option
on or off, I have the following behaviour:
The first user that logs into windows, will never be able to
have the screen turn off, it will go into the welcome screen
after 2 minutes (without seeing the screensaver, weird), and
after 1 min it will go into the screensaver, and never turn
off the screen.
If the second person logs in (and it does not matter which
user logs in first, i tried these combinations as well...)
their login allows the screensaver to start at 1 min and the
screen turns off after 2 minutes...
If you ever switch over to the login of the person that
logged in first, you will get the same results: cant turn
off monitor.
If I disable Synergy, everything works as expected: after 1
min, screensaver, and after 2 min, monitor turns off.
There has to be something that is preventing the original
login from going into screensaver, since it transitions into
the welcome screen 2 minutes after idle, instead of going
into screensaver 1 min after idle and after 2 min turning
off the monitor.
I will poor through the code that fools with the screensaver
in a week or two and see what is going on
