What is the problem you wish to solve?
People with portable computers use them with Synergy at home and standalone
elsewhere. They have to start/stop Synergy manually when moving between
locations.

What is your new feature idea?
Start or stop Synergy automatically when the user connects to a router with
a specific MAC address or a wireless access point with a specific name.

Is there already a less convenient way?
Manually start and stop Synergy

How useful would the feature be to others?
Presumably very useful. Others suggested this to me.

I have no experience in networking related code, else I would do this. I
saw that SynergyKM for OS X has something that looks relevant, that could
be helpful at least for OS X. SynergyKM is at
"http://sourceforge.net/projects/synergykm/":http://sourceforge.net/projects/synergykm/

Another issue linked to "https://build.opensuse.org/package/show?package=synergy&project=home:dgollub":https://build.opensuse.org/package/show?package=synergy&project=home:dgollub for a different reason, but that person also made some changes which sound relevant. I think this is beyond me to integrate into synergy-plus but it's there if someone wants to take a crack at it.
