Bug #431 - Alt to Command (Apple) key not working
Google user: joshabts
What list of steps will reproduce the problem?
Installed synergy-plus-1.3.4-Windows-x64-"/p/synergy-plus/source/detail?r=1":r1 .exe on Windows 7 Enterprise
(synergys)
Installed synergy-plus-1.3.4-Darwin-i386.dmg on Mac OS X 10.6 (synergyc)
Connect client to server
Move onto client (mac) screen and try to do Alt+Q (Command+Q on an Apple
keyboard) to quit any running program, nothing happens, (typically q gets
typed)What version of operating system, and Synergy+ are you using?
See aboveWhat is the expected behaviour, and what happens instead?
Should quit a program (utilize the command key) but instead it ignores it.Is there a way of temporarily working around your problem?
I installed the older synergyc 1.3.1 (from the actual synergy sourceforge
release of 2006) and the command/alt translation works fine.Would you like to solve the problem yourself and submit a patch?
No idea where to start! :P

Which version of os x do you have, specifically?
If 10.6.3, this be most likely a duplicate of issue #0 .

Yes, it is 10.6.3, but issue #0 is client not switching back to server screen. This
is the clipboard not working.

Sorry, I meant to type issue #0 is indeed unrelated.
Why do you say this is a clipboard issue? I'm reading this as only being meta keys
not working properly.
I don't think people on 419 realized that the old synergy was working properly though.

Yup, this does appear to be the same bug, guess I was looking at it in a different
sense. Can be marked as a duplicate, but yeah, old synergy seems to work, so worth
noting that.

Marked as a duplicate of issue #9 .
