Steps to reproduce:

  • Install v1.4.9 32bit on Xubuntu 12.04 (possibly other *buntu versions)
  • Start synergyc with LightDM via the greeter-setup-script config setting
  • Shutdown the computer
  • At next startup/login a crash report is presented:

synergyc crashed with SIGSEGV in CEventQueue::deleteTimer()

  • The crash occurs at shutdown as the crash date/time corresponds with the machine shutdown time.
  • v1.4.8 wasn't crashing

Versions and operating systems:

v1.4.9 32bit installed via .deb on Xubuntu 12.04

Temporary workarounds:

I can tell the crash reporter to ignore future crashes.

I can't get this to happen -- we need a stack trace really. Try running it through gdb and see what you get on the crash. Also, running the debug mode (./hm.sh conf -g1 -d; ./hm.sh build -d) might be helpful.
