Steps to reproduce:

  1. Run Synergy 1.4
  2. Shut down Mac

Expected: Shuts down immediately Actual: Nothing happens (until you quit the GUI)

Versions (Synergy, OS):

Server: 1.4.8 under Windows XP Pro SP3
Client 1: 1.4.8 under Mac OS X v10.6.8 ("Snow Leopard")

Workaround:

  1. Click tray icon
  2. Click Quit

As another work-around, you can of course just quit Synergy, then logout, but you need to remember to do so.

Still happens with 1.4.9 on OS X 10.6 (but not on OS X 10.8).

Looks like this is a bug in the Qt library on 10.6, not much we can do other than try to upgrade the library, but that's quite risky considering this is easy to work around (click Quit from the tray icon).
