Steps to reproduce:

  1. Install 1.3.8 error not found msvcp100.DLL, already D/L and save in system32 folder and also installation folder.
  2. Install 1.4.8 could not connect to service, error: 2
  3. re-start after install

Expected: 1.3 missing .dll, 1.4 error 2
Actual: do not know

Versions (Synergy, OS):

Server: Win XP SP3
Client 1: Win7 Starter

Workaround:

Steps 1 and 2 in the bug report are unrellated I suspect. However with the new TCP IPC the "error: 2" message shouldn't be a problem.
