Bug #3189 - Cursor resistance mid-screen on Windows 8 server
Steps to reproduce:
- Run Synergy host
- ? (seems to happen randomly, but once started is repeatable while Synergy is open)
- Move the cursor around
Expected: Cursor moves freely across the screen
Actual: Cursor gets 'stuck' at vertical 'invisible barrier' at the right side of the screen, moving only vertically until a large amount of horizontal movement is applied.
Versions (Synergy, OS):
Server: 1.4.8 x86 @ Windows 8 CP x64
Client 1: 1.4.8 x86 @ Windows 8 CP x64
Workaround:
Close or restart Synergy.
Comments:
I wasn't able to manually reproduce the problem but I will try to capture a video when the problem manifests itself.

Here is a video demonstrating the issue:

And apparently I cut of the title of the report accidentally. Can a dev. please fix it to something appropriate?

I found out I can easily reproduce the issue by simply shutting down (not restarting!) Windows 8. When the computer is turned on again the bug presents itself every time. So I assume it may be related to the new semi-hibernated startup, or maybe with hibernation in general.
