  • Related to: Feature #2706 - Qt dependency checks
  • Duplicated by: Bug #601 - Nightly Windows build synergy-plus-1.5.0-r681-Windows-x86.exe has missing dlls

Steps to reproduce:

  1. install 1.4.2 or 1.5.0 on any Windows machine without mingw installed
  2. try to run the Synergy UI
  3. notice the alert indicating mingwm10.dll is missing

Expected: the UI would come up as it does with 1.3.6
Actual: error indicating missing mingwm10.dll

Versions (Synergy, OS):

Server: windows
Client 1: windows

Workaround:

I'm pretty sure you can hand-install mingwm10.dll, but that seems to be beside the point....
