This new version of Synergy does not work with Windows 9x! The only
reason, too, as far as I can tell, is because it links to VC9, which can't
install on 9x - please make a Windows9x build that links to an older VC!

I need Synergy so I can share my keyboard and mouse between my legacy PC
and my modern PC, running all my old apps on 98SE and my new ones on XP.
Please! PLEASE don't keep this broken for 9x.

For the 9x afficionados out there, this also does not work with KernelEx.

I feed sorry for you but I'm sure this will not change. It will create us too many
problems to support Win9x architecture. You can use the old synergy for this until
we'll break the protocol compatibility (let's hope we do not do this too soon).

I added this limitation to the homepage of the project in order to spare others time.

Please understand that this is not due to bad willing and just because it would not
be realistic possible to maintain this compatibility.
