When copying an image on the server, and then trying to move the mouse to the client, synergy stops working and cannot transfer the mouse and keyboard to the client. Only if you replace the clipboard with a small piece of the text will the problem resolve itself.
Copying from the client to the server seems to work fine.

I tested this on two XP 32-bit installs and had the same problem.
Server: XP Pro
Client: XP Home

I have the same problem when I copy an excel cell on the client and try to paste it on the server.
