Bug #1386 - mouse/keyboard freezes on remote computer.
SourceForge user: nobody
Local is WinXP, remote is Ubuntu.
Networking is working as expected, and in fact this problem occurs via wired or wireless networking.
while moving hte mouse (also with key presses) there can be a 'freeze' of up to ~5 seconds.
During this time the gnome network meter indicates that network data is being transferred as expected (synergyc is the only network application active.) i.e. exactly the expected amount of network traffic for a quickly moving mouse is being transferred from server to client. during this time no mouse movement occurs and no keypresses are displayed.
After the freeze, all mouse movement, clicks and keypresses are replayed.
Adjusting the priority of synergys under WinXP or renice'ing synergyc under ubuntu doesn't help.
If synergyc is reniced to -19 then it will sometimes use 100%% cpu and freeze the ubuntu machine for the duration of the freeze.

Thanks,
Paul.

I'm having the exact same problem between a Windows XP x64 PC and a Gentoo Linux install. (just to confirm; and to say it's not an Ubuntu only problem)

The locking occurred for me on Gentoo after building libX11 with the 'xcb' USE flag. Rebuilding libX11 without xcb and restarting X stopped the locking.

I have Linux (Gentoo) as the client of an XP SP3 server. Both running 1.3.1. After compiling in xcb into xorg 7.4 I had problems with lagging. I heard the svn had a few patches, tried it out, and the problems are gone.
If at all possible, I would suggest pushing SVN to 1.3.2 , it would server many purposes.
