I tried to set autostart "When I log in" for a regular
user account. It seemed to work okay. When I click
"start" (or "test"), it says: "Failed to save autostart
configuration: Access is denied." and doesn't start.
Now when I try to click the "AutoStart..." button (to
uninstall autostart), it gives the same message. Even
if I exit the app ("Warning, unsaved changes, exit
anyways?") and restart, I get this message.

Version 1.3.1, newly installed (no previous
configuration), acting as server on Win XP SP2.

If I click Info, it says "Sys config" is
"C:\WINDOWS\synergy.sgc" - my user account would not
have access to this file. "User config" is in the
Documents and Settings\user directory where it would
has no problem.

This still seems to be a problem.

We somehow got our normal user stations to work but after the DST time change last weekend (November 3rd, 2007) the problem reared it's ugly head again.

we had to add the normal user to the local admin, remove the auto-login, then take them out of the group again.
