I am running Synergy 1.3.1 on a Windows XP system and a Fedora Core 6 (fully patched) system. The XP system/keyboard is my "server". When I launch VMware server console (v 1.0.3) and take control of a virtual machine a lot of keystrokes coming from the keyboard attached to the XP box are not passed on through to the virtual machine. Specifically, uppercase and control characters, as well as special key combinations like "Ctrl+Alt", which releases the keyboard from the virtual machine's control. When I use the keyboard physically attached to the Linux box all is well.

I know it's a stretch going through that many hops, but I figure if lowercase characters and carriage returns make it, why not the others?

Anyone?

TIA,
Laker
