iTunes keyboard shortcuts
Hello folks,
I'm using Synergy 1.4.3 beta running as a service on both the server and client machines, which are both Windows 7 Enterprise. I run iTunes for my music on the server machine but, when the synergy service is running, the keyboard shortcuts in iTunes don't work.
(iTunes version 10.4.1.10, and keyboard shortcuts like Ctrl-, Ctrl-L Ctrl-Shift-M)
Also, simply stopping the Synergy Server service doesn't get them working again either. I actually have to kill the synergys.exe process to get the shortcuts working (why that process doesn't die when I stop the service is another question I have, but it's outside the scope of this question).
A little testing shows that if iTunes is running on the client instead of the server, the keyboard shortcuts will work. That doesn't work for me though because the client (my laptop) doesn't have the music library and isn't connected to speakers.
I realize that a simple workaround would be to use the laptop as the synergy server and the desktop (with the music) as the client, but I wanted to ask if there was a solution for this or if I should report it as a bug.
Thanks,
