Sometimes when either my xplorer2 or Nitro pdf windows are on top and selected my cursor cannot be moved to the second system monitor. If I minimize the window it still won't go, but when I open it up again then Synergy starts working again. What's wrong? |

The applications are most likely holding the mouse. I have read about instabilities and crashes in xplorer2, so it may not be handling the mouse properly. (I can't say for sure.) I have read similar things about Nitro PDF. Unfortunately, it is not a problem with Synergy, so there really isn't anything that I can suggest to help you. |
I am experiencing similar problems. I have synergy 1.4.4 installed on both a linux machine running latest ubuntu and on a win7 machine. THe linux machine is the sever. I have to mention that this behaviour was present for earlier versions of synergy so i don't think is a beta related bug.
On the win7 machine, the mouse would become inactive when installing a program. More precisely I am not able to click on the install button or any of the buttons on the windows appearing when you install a program. In this state I can't click anything. I have to use the mouse pad to click through the installation.
On the linux side (server side). If I am on desktop, or in a terminal windows. I can't move the mouse to the second monitor. I have to open a browser or another non system related program to make it move to the second monitor (the win 7 machine).
Both the client and the server are x64 machines.
Has anyone experienced this behaviour and is there something to do about it?
All in all I am loving synergy but it would be great if there was a fix for this!
Cheers,
Lucian
