I hope this isn't too much of a noob question; I used synergy some time ago but I'm about to setup a new, more complex system.

I'm going to be setting up a quad-monitor system connected to a Windows box (with two graphics cards). I'm going to have one of these monitors be "intercepted" by a KVM switch, which I'd like to connect to a Mac laptop (probably docked). What I'm wondering is how Synergy will behave in this situation. When the Mac is connected, I'm guessing the hardware KVM will need to be set to the Mac, and then Synergy will allow me to work across the other screens? What would then happen if I disconnect the Mac or flip the KVM back to Windows control, will Synergy auto-adjust? Thanks!

The keyboard and mouse need to be plugged the computer running Synergy server. What I do is have a KVM only for video, that way I can have 2 screens, but many computers.
