I've been using Synergy for a while and I'm mostly getting on great with it. One thing that is sometimes annoying is having to take my hands off the keyboard and move the mouse onto a particular screen in order to start using that system. Is it possible to configure synergy so that some key combination (eg CTRL-ALT-SHIFT-SQUIGGLE) will switch to the other screen, as though I had moved the mouse onto that screen?

Please accept tezza24uk's answer if it works.

This is possible if you create a sgc file with this line included and set the gui to read the configuration file.

section: options
    keystroke(Control+Left) = ; switchToScreen(leftpc)
end

I added this to my .synergy.conf file and it works - thanks :-)

One minor question: What is the significance of the ; character? It seems to work with and without that character.

Ah, this is not possible. But, I have created a feature request for you (http://synergy-foss.org/pm/issues/2903).

Looks like my first answer was wrong. I have closed the invalid feature request. Thanks to tezza24uk for the correct answer.

Where is the file? What is the files name? What software to open the file?
