Hoi!

Musicdude here, making music and crap like that in FL Studio (formerly known as FruityLoops). I've noticed that when I open FL Studio there is a 75% chance that the mouse simply refuses to leave that monitor, as if Synergy was never on. But it is.

I've tried minimizing FL Studio, restarting Synergy on both the client computer and the servercomputer, still no fix. I reinstaller Synergy on both, and reinstalled FL Studio, still the same. it works some times, and sometimes it works just for a while, sometimes an hour.. but eventually you suddenly notice that the mouse hits the wall of the monitor without passing through to the other monitor.

I'd need some advice on this, seems a wee bit strange I'd say!

Thanks! /Solstickan

any update on this? Same exact thing just happened to me. it is a different problem than the UAC issue: when i switch to chrome, i still cant move the mouse to the client PC, and UAC is disabled on my windows 7 machine

Been having the same issue here but only on my Win7 server client... On WinXP FLStudio doesn't lock up. Win7 with FLStudio opens sometimes it's immediate and sometimes it will take an hour as the OP had mentioned. Could be something in FL's GUI but curious to see if there's a workaround!

The problem can be easily solved by defining a hotkey, that turns screen-locking off or assigning a hotkey for clients

Please see this Q&A as it addresses same bug: http://synergy-foss.org/osqa/questions/806/cant-move-mouse-to-client

If you are having a problem with mouse sensitivity in FL Studio please try this: http://synergy-foss.blogspot.com/2011/06/make-synergy-work-with-world-of.html

Or relative mouse moves & scroll lock on (toggle hotkey) for the server machine
