I run a two network setup at work. Once Network is x.x.11.x and the other is x.x.13.x, On the 11 network I have all desktop workstations and servers. On the 13 Network I have several mac workstations and wireless clients. I have two business class routers (Cisco) driving both of these networks and a proper Route is configured to allow cross talk between the networks. IE. I can see all 13 net systems as if they were part of 11. Can I configure Synergy to work via IP addresses instead of host names? that way I can feed it a x.x.11.x IP as the server but still have my laptop/test stations on the x.x.13.x network connect?

You should just be able to feed it the IP address is the "host name" (or similar) field where you are currently putting in host names.

Negative, Using the Beta it forces the first character of a host name/alias to be an alphabetical character. After that it allows for numbers but will not let you remove the alphabetical char.
