I just upgraded to Mac OS X Lion on two Synergy client machines (MacBook Pros running Synergy 1.3.7) and the first thing I note is that after the monitor goes into power save mode, it takes a resident physical mouse/keyboard (bluetooth or wired) to activate the monitor whereas with Leopard and Snow Leopard the Synergy server mouse activity was sufficient to activate the monitor. The systems themselves are not "sleeping", only the monitor, according to the LED indicator on the two laptops. The prior behavior is highly desirable. |
I would love to know this too, so i dont have to keep my magic mouse beside my iMac
I have the same problem! I keep my mac in a Hengedock, but i use my windows box for gaming and sharing err.. family photos. Synergy works great, I think I simply need a way to prevent it from sleeping when lid is closing.
