I have two Win7 computers hooked up to 3 monitors.
Primary server computer is connected to all 3 monitors via HDMI/Displayport connections. Client computer is connected to 2 of these same monitors via DVI connections.

Here is setup diagram for computers and monitors: http://www.box.net/shared/gq6pjsfbul

Synergy 1.4.2 shows both computers as connected.

Neither the keyboard or mouse will function. That is, the mouse will not scroll from the Server computer to the active screen of the client. Is there anyway to get Synergy 1.4.2 to work with this configuration? Do I have to hit Shift or Alt key to be able to get the mouse to scroll from one screen to another?

Per Nick Bolton comment: "Synergy will recognise your entire screen configuration as a single large screen. So, you just need to have one synergyc instance per machine. In your config, your client need only be specified once."

I am not entirely sure what this means or entails as far as setup. Does this mean I have to disconnect one of the monitors from the Server and use it only for the Client? I really like being able to use all 3 monitors from my Server computer and would like to use 2 of these same monitors from the Client computer. Is this possible? If so, what are the config settings.

(Also, hello Nick, have been a devoted MailWasher user since 3/13/2002, glad to see you supporting Synergy as it will be quite useful to me once I get the kinks out)

Here is what solved the issue. I had configured Synergy using "Configure interactively" and left in the interactive mode. What I did was use the File, "Save configuration as" commands and saved the file as HP6200.sgc Then I changed from "Configure interactively" to "Use existing configuration" and linked to the HP6200.sgc file that I had saved.

I do not recall this being in the configuration instructions..., but maybe it is. In any event, this fixed the issue.
