When I type on the client computer, the output is sequential numbers not the letters typed.

Why? Any suggestions? I've used Synergy before but had to reload a computer with a new hardrive and now synergy isn't working correctly.

Thanks, JWB

You should try upgrading to the latest version.

I had been using the 1.3.1 version until I had the computer reimaged so I went back to it, it worked before. Also when I looked at the different versions to download, it appeared to me that some were listed under 'stable' versions and I presumed the rest were 'beta', so to avoid confusion, I went with what was working a week ago.

I uninstall 1.3.1 and download 1.3.6 and see what happens.

I just figured it must be a simple option I needed to tweek to get it to type correctly.

THanks.

I have uninstalled 1.3.1 and upgraded to the latest version for my machines, 1.3.6...... same results.

Everything works, keyboard, mouse etc, however when I type I get sequential numbers not the letters I am typing.

Not much good in this mode.

Thanks for any help.

I assume that typing on the client's attached keyboard, that all is correct, without the sequential numbers. please edit your question, and add your config and log files within < pre > < /pre > tags. Also, please include OS information for both client and server machines.
