So, i have used synergy yesterday, worked all day, No problems at all. But now, today, it wont let my bring my mouse from the server to the client. my server and client are both linked, it says they link in the synergy log (server and client both say they are connected) but when i drag my mouse to the left of my server screen, it just collides with the screen, and doesn't go to the client. Yes i have it configured in the "configure server" menu, server in the middle, client to the left of it. That's where my laptop is IRL. Both are named to what they should be, and my client is set to join my servers ip. like i said, i had it working yesterday. i did try to reinstall synergy, got no luck. i have tried restarting my computer, no luck and i have given both of them admin permissions, still no luck. i cant see anything that is wrong, but something is not working.

any/all suggestions are greatly appreciated (especially from people who have had this problem/someone who knows how to fix this)

EDIT: i have the most recent version of synergy server = win7x32 client = winVista (i have tried changing these around, no luck)

I too would like some more feedback on this. I have two Windows 7 x64 clients. The server is running through a firewall, but on the permitted port 80. The server accepts the client and the client shows connected to the server. I have configured my client on the middle of the right side of the screen, but when I mouse over to that area, nothing happens. There aren't any other programs running, I have checked the box for 'Elevate' on both machines, UAC is actually off on the server, and I get no feedback at all. Just the fact that the mouse goes to the right edge and stops. The server and client are on different domains, but I can't see how that would matter. I have removed the option to disable corners just in case I wasn't triggering the correct area of the screen. Using current 1.4.10 beta. In the advanced configuration, what is the entry for 'Interface' below 'Port'? The documentation says nothing about it. I'm assuming for machines that have multiple NICs or wireless as well that you put the IP address of the interface you want the server/client to operate on? Lastly, when you enable the default LOG directory on Windows, the string needs to be enclosed in quotes. If you don't, the EXE fails with an invalid parameter/option error.

I figured out why (in my case) the mouse wasn't moving over to the client machine. The 5x3 grid is what was tripping me up. I had my client in the grid in cell 5,2 when it should have been in 4,2 making my client the one to the immediate right of my server. I removed the IP addresses in the 'interface' setting and it does not seem to have any effect.
