Ok, let me explain as clear as possible... I use my laptop (Windows 8 D.R.) at home and at work, it is ALWAYS the client machine. I want to be able to either automatically connect to the server in both places as soon as I connect to the network OR have a desktop shortcut that I can click to start the client looking for the correct server. I know in the past I have done it with IP addresses (ie the server at my office and at home both set with the same IP, and then that IP in the Server Name on the client machine) but that is not possible for me at the moment, and i am using computer names. Right now I have to stop Synergy, change the server name, and then re-start. Congrats on 1.4.10, solved several issues for me, right shift being the worst!!! Cheers in advance. |
