I am working with 1) Windows 7, Synergy 1.4.10 2) Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, QuickSynergy 0.9.0 (?) where Windows is the server to control Ubuntu's mouse and keyboard. Keyboard settings is German for both computers. Setup worked smoothly with Windows XP and Ubuntu 11.10 (?).

Communcation works, but if I am on the Ubuntu Desktop an press the left Shift-Key, the connection is broken:

NOTE: client "xyz" has disconnected

I have to restart QuickSynergy to proceed.

Has anybody expierenced the same problem? Does anybody know a workaround?

Best regards, Stefan
