Hi,

I use the "Autohide Taskbar" feature on my machines. Supposed that the synergy setting of the "Dead Corners" would make it possible, to arrange the monitors in the server setting of synergy above or under each other.

This doesn't work (mouse moves over the dead corner but the taskbar doesn't appear and the mouse is on the other screen). My systems: Windows XP SP3, Windows 7(64) and Synergy 1.4.9)

Did I miss something, or does it work as designed??

Edit: Split out answer from question.

Found it (with the wrap-around-tip, thx!):

  1. Save your settings (e.g. synergy.sgc)
  2. Edit the file
  3. copy the server settings (section: options) switchCorners = none +top-left +top-right +bottom-left +bottom-right switchCornerSize = 80
  4. Paste them to each of your Workstation (section: screens)
  5. Save the file with a anew name
  6. Under "Use existing configuartion" select your editedt config file
  7. Press the Apply button
  8. Done
