Duplicates: Problem installing on Ubuntu 11.04

Ok, so i have watched videos and everything trying to figure this out but nothing ever works i have tried following a video and setting it up using the terminal and then editing the file /home/austinlx/.synergy.conf and the same with just /synergy.conf and i have tries /etc/synergy.conf and /.synergy.conf and nothing will work i also tried following something that Nick Bolton said and i downloaded the .deb package and tried installing it by

sudo apt-get install libqt4-gui libqt4-network sudo dpkg -i synergy-1.4.2-Linux-i686.deb

the fist one works fine but the second one wont work and i even changed the synergy-1.4.2 to the one i have witch is 1.4.9 I cant get anything to work and im getting frustrated but i really want this to work so any help would be awesome.
