I use a Wacom tablet, so there's no way to "move across" the edge of the screen ... What I would like is a hotkey to "switch" to the client screen. Or is there some other way to make this work? |

Here's what I think (untested): First, add the Synergy hot keys:
Add Wacom shortcut keys (assuming your tablet has buttons) for the F9 and F10 keys. Like I said, I haven't tested this, but it might work. The hotkey works to force the cursor to the other screen, but then it gets 'stuck' along the far left edge of the client screen. The tablet is unable to move it around the screen normally. Possibly this is because the client doesn't have the tablet physically connected; so the tablet driver doesn't function?

Try changing the tablet mode from absolute to relative (and vice versa), I remember there being a problem where one of the modes doesn't work.

Click on hotkeys, then the plus sign to the far left. Then add the key you want to use, press plus to the left side and add the command switch to your first screen name, rinse and repeat for each screen. Alternatively, you can just use a single button and 'move the selected screen left and right, but I have a Mac keyboard on a PC and therefore the F13 to F19 keys are pretty useless otherwise. Hell their pretty useless on a Mac. Oh and I forgot to add, you tagged this with Mac. If you are using this commandline, setting hotkeys can be done through GUI by grabbing Qsynergy from sourceforge. Its basically a Multiplatform version of synergy's windows interface.
