Hi,

I've recently started using synergy on two WinXP SP3 machines and have been having a weird issue where it will be working fine and then suddenly the mouse cursor on my client machine starts bouncing around like crazy all over my screen making it unusable. This jumpy behavior will continue until I restart synergy on the client machine.

I've tried restarting the server and that has no effect, so this appears to be specific to the client side of things. Using a mouse plugged into the client works fine also and is the only way I can restart synergy aside from restarting the entire machine.

This could be caused by 3rd party firewalls or a bad network connection. Try disabling all firewalls and using a 100 megabit ethernet connection. Also, make sure you're using the latest version.
