This is an odd one that I haven't been able to figure out so far. I have two computers running Synergy: Server - Windows 7 x64, Synergy 1.4.8 as service Mouse/keyboard control works as normal between both, with one exception. On the OSX client, I can't click folders and files in a Finder window twice to rename them. Clicking once to highlight works fine, double clicking works fine, right clicking works fine. I can click twice to rename just fine with files on the desktop, but as soon as I open a Finder window it no longer works. If I unplug the keyboard and mouse from the server and plug them directly into the client, everything works as normal and I'm able to click to rename the same files I was previously unable to. I can replicate the problem very reliably. Any ideas on how to fix this? Is this a known issue that I'm just not finding or is this a new bug to be addressed? Renaming files is pretty critical functionality so I've temporarily retired Synergy while I figure this out. Thanks! |
I offer this as a comment, not an answer, since it provides only a work-around. I can replicate your issue with WinXP Pro SP3 as server and the same client config. I have filed a bug report.
If you switch to icon view in your Finder windows, then this problem doesn't manifest. (The desktop is always in icon view.) The problem occurs with anything other than icon view in Finder windows.
