Hello,

I had Synergy working previously however after just starting up my computer recently I received this error on the server computer.

Error: could not connect to service log, error: 2

This error appears as soon as I open the software. Any ideas? I've tried resetting up the server and the client but it hasn't helped. I still always receive the same error as soon as I open the software on the server computer.

The client computer as expected is showing the following: Warning: failed to connect to server: Timed out

My server computer is Win7 (firewall exception is set up) My client computer is WinXP

I've also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software, I've even removed all settings relating to Synergy from the Registry Editor for a clean installation.

I have recent;y tried swapping the server and client machines around and the Win7 machine still shows error 2

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Mark

Removed 64bit and installed 32bit of 1.4.8 on the server. Then install 1.3 on the client and strangely it seems to work. No idea how log it's going to last however.
