I am new to Synergy, it is working great, except for 1 small problem.

Tried 1.4.8 and 1.4.9 on a windows 7 enterprise machine as my synergy server.

Shift-Left Click and Control-Left Click keys do not work in only 1 software application. They work fine in Excel, Word and browser. But, in this one program, it doesn't work. It's not a common application, it is statistical analysis software.

Should I try some key sniffer and see what's getting sent? Is there a way to configure a hot key or other work around to represent my shift key?

Thanks for any pointers.

I apologize, I am so new, I can't find where the option is to switch to desktop mode.

Make sure you're using the latest version. When you start for the first time it asks you to choose desktop or service mode. Choose desktop mode. If you don't see the wizard, go to File -> Run wizard.
