Hi -

Tried using the latest version on Windows 7 (64) - the one with the GUI to help configure server. I could not see how to add computer screens to the "Grid". I then tried Version 1.3.8, spent some time with google, watched the odd video and still could not get 2 Windows 7 computers working with this software.

The error messages I received were vague. I was told to check the "log" file, but there is no indication where this log file is located.

Can someone please let me know how to get 2 Windows 7 computers working with this software, or any tips would be much appreciated at this point. I really think this could really be a very useful utility and just frustrated in not being able to get it working.

I am sure the IP address(s) I am using are correct. Sometimes I dont get an error message right away, but cant get anything happening.

Just knowing where the log file is situated would help.

Thanks.

Try the beta version. Your error is most likely due to an invalid configuration: your screen name must match your computer name. (The beta version has a configuration wizard and shows error logs on Win7.)

Shame this software is not better supported really. See lots of questions and not many answers.
