Running ubuntu 11.10 on my laptop and share my laptop keyboard and mouse with two other clients. One ubuntu desktop and one vmware view desktop. The view desktop is connected over pcoip. The mouse will move to the vm view desktop and the cursor appears but it doesn't follow the mouse. You are able to use the mouse on the view desktop you just can't see where the cursor is on the screen. |

As a workaround you could try disabling mouse pointer integration in VMware, so that the cursor is locked inside the VMware window. Also, I seem to recall having problems with VMware on my 2nd monitor. Try running on your main monitor and see if it behaves differently. |

I had this same problem when trying to use synergy across a desktop win7 box and a win7 VM. The workaround is to turn mouse trails on under mouse pointer settings on the virtual machine. I made the trails the smallest they could get so that it doesn't annoy me too much - hey at least I've got a cursor now! |
I'm running a simular setup and having simular results. Windows XP 32bit server, Windows 32bit VM client. It recognizes when the mouse moves over to client, and the keyboard works just fine, but the cursor doesn't show up. I can still use the functions of the mouse (ie click, right click) but I just can't see where it is at. I've tried both 1.3.8 and 1.4.8
I am having the same issue. With a windows7x64 host and a vmware view session (Win7x64) running on an hp thin client. I tried disabled the mouse integration via the .vmx file but had so success.
