So I have the service running on my Win7 machine, everything connects and I can see that a connection has been established in the logs on both the server (Win7) and the client (10.7). The mouse however will not pass from the server to the client. It just stops at the edge of the screen.

Everything seems to work perfectly if I run the gui version and stop the service on the server with the same configuration file.

I can turn up the logging level and try again if it is any help.

I'm having this same issue with Window 7 as the server and Fedora as the client. Running in foreground mode on the client (synergyc -f --name linux <ip>) and it says connected, but when I try to move my cursor to the client, it won't go. when I kill the windows process, open synergy.exe, and hit test, it works. I'm dumbfounded. any help would be appreciated.

Had the same problem. Debugging-level made it clear to me: screen locked

for whatever reason...

simple solution: define a hotkey, that turns screen-locking off

This worked for me, weird side effect was that immediately afterwards Ctrl+Alt was "held" down, meaning I was typing and all sorts of madness ensued.
