I am attempting to connect to a Synergy server running on OSX 10.7 from a Windows 7 64-bit Synergy client. I am not able to connect to the server with an IPv6 address. I can ping the server from the client, but Synergy client cannot connect.

Update: I am still unable to connect to the server over an ipv6 address. I have added the ipv6 address and hostname to my etc/hosts file and entering the ipv6 address into the hostname field on the client. Does anyone know if synergy will work with an ipv6 address? Thanks for anything you can provide.

I'm having the same issue. The only workaround I've found is to manually type the IPv4 address instead of the hostname, into the client software.
