I love the application, only problem is that I can get it to run only once after install. My setup: 1 Windows7 64-bit laptop, running the Synergy server + 1 XP 32-bit desktop running the client. Synergy v.1.4.5 installed on both machines (I tried the 1.3.8 stable versions but had the same problem) Things work as expected right after install. If I reboot the laptop (the Synergy server), I cannot make the mouse leave the laptop screen any more. The XP client says "connected to ...", but the mouse/keyboard sharing doesn't work, without any error log. The only way I can get it to work is uninstall and reinstall the server each time... (doing an extra logoff/logon in between, in order to unlock synrgyhk.dll. Without logoff/logon the install fails). I guess there must be a more elegant way to use this sweet application ? Any help highly appreciated. |
