I have synergy server running on Linux and Synergy client running on Mac OSX. I'm having the key mapping issue... I'm using a standard "PC" keyboard, <ctrl><winkey><alt> layout. I want the keys to respond the same on the Mac as on Linux. The ctrl key should be used in conjunction with c,v to cut/paste, the alt key should be used with tab to bring up the task switcher.
If I plug the keyboard directly into the Mac, map keys, it will work, but as soon as I unplug and replug into linux, those mappings are gone, because the keyboard is obviously no longer recognized.
I've also tried using the mapping techniques outlined in the docs...
HA, nevermind, I got it.
In the config on Linux (server), in the section: screens in the definition for the mac (client)
I simply mapped all keys to command: alt = super ctrl = super super = super
Works like a charm.

I have a Windows Server and a Mac client (with SynergyKM). I can't make the Control key work. I need the Control key do Ctrl-drag an object in Xcode on my Mac. Can't do that.
Mapping all keys to super doesn't work...
